I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and families on a range of issues. I am pursuing my play therapy credentials and enjoy using these techniques in therapy. I approach therapy from many different perspectives, but mainly using, person-centered therapy; meaning I use a non-authoritative approach that allows my clients to take more of a lead in discussions so that, in the process, they will discover their own solutions.
My goal is to provide everyone with a safe and non-judgmental environment for my clients and their family’s needs. My passion is to help individuals and families reach their goals and make positive changes in their lives.
The quote I strive to live by is:
“Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be Kind. Always.” – Unknown.
I was born and raised in Tatum, NM. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice and my Master's degree in Clinical Counseling from Eastern New Mexico University.
