I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and have been working in Las Cruces, NM as a therapist for 31 years. My specialties include working with trauma survivors and serving the LGBTQ community, so I keep up with the latest techniques and information. My primary goal in therapy is to assure my clients feel safe and comfortable so that healing can begin. Modalities that I may utilize include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, education on trauma and the brain, and mindfulness training. I obtained my certification as a Clinical Trauma Specialist from the Arizona Trauma Institute. I am also a trainer in the parenting system, “Parenting with Love and Logic,” and enjoy working with parents to better their skills.
