I enjoy working with a wide variety of clients, including children, adults, couples, and families, and I have been doing so for over 6 years. I approach therapy from a systems perspective, meaning I view concerns within the broader context of families and relationships, recognizing the influence of external factors on individual well-being and acknowledging how strengthening these relationships can support lasting change. My work is also strongly informed by humanistic therapy, attachment theory, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I emphasize empathy, authenticity, and the importance of secure, supportive relationships, and I believe that all individuals have an innate capacity within themselves to grow, heal, and move toward greater balance and well-being. Helping individuals and families make positive changes in their lives and empowering them to reach their goals is one of the most meaningful and rewarding aspects of working with clients.
I also incorporate EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) into my work when appropriate, supporting clients in processing trauma, reducing distress, and building adaptive coping responses. I strive to create a warm, collaborative therapeutic environment where clients feel supported, understood, and empowered. Whether working with individuals, couples, or families, I tailor my approach to honor each client’s strengths, values, and lived experience.
I earned my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northcentral University in July 2019. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Family Studies from the University of New Mexico in 2015.
