About the Group

Grief is something we each will experience at least once in our lifetime in some form or another. We all experience grief in our own way and time; sometimes we might see similarities, but the grieving and healing process is unique to each of us.

The purpose of this group is to offer a safe and compassionate setting for those who have experienced a loss to connect with others and share experiences and learn about how grief can impact us, understand the distress of adjusting to the changes caused by loss and ways to support themselves through the process.

The group will run online for 8 weeks, for one hour each session from 5 - 6 PM on Tuesdays, beginning 29th April.

Key Information

Who can attend?
The group is for anyone who has experienced loss over the age of 18.
Where will the group take place?
Online via Zoom.
What is expected of group members?

Our group therapy sessions operate as a closed group, which means that once the sessions commence, we do not accept new members. Participants are expected to commit to attending all eight sessions from start to finish.

Consistent attendance throughout the entire duration of the program is vital for the group's cohesion, trust-building, and effectiveness in achieving therapeutic goals.

Please note that due to the closed nature of the group, no new members will be added after the initial sessions begin.
