ABOUT RELATIONAL THERAPY
What is Relational Therapy and How Does it Work?
Also known as couples’ therapy or marriage counseling, relational therapy is time set aside for you and your partner to work on improving your relationship.
With the support and guidance of a therapist, you’ll learn to communicate better, improve your intimacy, and resolve your differences in a healthy way.
[Another couple of sentences about how it works - e.g. sessions alone/together]
It’s not uncommon for relationships to lose their "spark" as they progress and face stress. Let us empower you to reclaim that relationship you fell for!
FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
What are the Goals of Relational Therapy? Our relational counsellors equip you to improve communication, manage stress, and resolve conflict. With the help of your therapist, you and your partner each identify what you’d like to improve in your relationship, then set goals around those changes.
Does Marriage Counseling End in Divorce? Not always. As mentioned above, our marriage counselors work towards the goals that you and your partner identify. Working from a place of compassion and understanding, our marriage counseling provides the skills and tools to empower you to make your own difficult decisions. A therapist should never direct you to choose any one option over another. Instead, they guide and support you in making the best decision for yourself and your relationship. Divorce can be an option, but only if you believe it to be the best option for yourself. Our goal is to enable you to make a thoughtful, intentional, and self-directed decision.
